This has been one of the most welcoming services I've been to where every week I went I found I was given so much life knowledge along with a lot of good conversations about how many cultures celebrate, grieve, and work together, and acknowledge each other. They are also very active on social issues that exist in everyday life, and there are always opportunities to volunteer and get involved.
My past relationship with religious activity was often negative as i approached my beliefs from a freethinker/atheist perspective. I'm still basically Athiest, but I have learned to be a lot more accepting, as many people have different types of definitions of "God" and that's ok. The unitarians are very good at these conversations about belief. I'd recommend checking them out, even if you have never really gone to a sunday service.
One thing I do miss currently due to this pandemic is the in person group singing, Online services are just not quite the same as the energy of people live, but that's something to look forward to later. Be Safe, take care.
Praise ala
If you're looking for a church where there is more emphasis on the journey and not on docterin, this is the place for you.
Great place for freethinkers.
