  We had fond memories of the Taunte Maria's in Sutherland, and now that this location is open until 7pm, we were able to go for supper!
  
  The home made Grandpa burger was just as good as I remembered, but I forgot how huge it was! The beef barley soup was also delicious.
  
  The selection of home made desserts is also mouth watering and the prices are so reasonable. We will be back soon to try the Chinese food and desserts!

  Very pleasant atmosphere & owners make you feel very welcomed. Prices are good & food was good as well.

  Odd combination of Mennonite and Chinese food
  New owners from Toronto : efficient, pleasant. Cannot pass this place across from ProSport without indulging in their tasty perogies with Real Menn. Sausage !
  Next time will discover their Chinese menu.

  I had the 9oz grandpa burger. Not exactly traditional Mennonite fare, but it was a homemade patty served with all the trimmings and a generous portion of bacon. Flavourwise, it ranks as one of the best burgers I've ever eaten in a restaurant.
  
  I had a slice of apple pie with icecream for dessert, which Pearl (one of the owners) assured me had been made fresh that day (not that I'd have minded if it hadn't been). The crust was perfect—light and flaky, with just the right amount of buttery goodness, and the filling reminded me of the apple pie my grandmother used to make.
  
  I wish I'd taken pictures.
  
  The only crticism I have is that the presentation is a bit sloppy, which is a shame, because the food is delicious. My entire meal cost roughly $15, which great value.
  
  I'll definitely be back.
