(November 4, 2018, 5:42 am)In general, religious organizations are social clubs composed of cliques and favoritism, and are similar to any other business where those with money, status, and power control the agenda. A relatively small group of such people run the show and call the shots. Those who give either significant money or time to the organization are valued, the rest not so much. Mainstream churches are basically a reflection of that society in which they exist. In our ultra-competitive 'take care of yourself first' system, everything is all about money, and if one isn't educated or connected in the right ways, then they essentially end up as economic slaves, working to make others wealthy while struggling to barely get by. Churches haven't accomplished much when it comes to addressing increasing wealth disparity and resulting social problems.

(August 1, 2017, 4:37 am)It was a beautiful worship experience. My family received a warm welcome from Pastor Terry and his beautiful wife as well as the church members. The love was palpable. The ministration of the word was cutting edge.
It's a place I'd like to visit again and again.
