(May 16, 2019, 2:37 pm)I took my 2012 Highlander in for a new windshield and to repaint my hood because of rock chips and to replace the black side trim around the windows on the drivers side as well as refinish the aluminum wheels on the side that had paint chips too. It took about 2 weeks to get it done which was ok with me and I had loaner car. The disappointment was when I got back to find how dirty everything was as I keep my car immaculate. There was excess black goo from the windshield install on the door jams and on the outside of the doors. The interior was covered in a layer of dust from body work and one door panel was dinged up. The rubber around the window was squished into the glass and the lower chrome trim would not fit flush anymore and was loose. The engine bay was filthy it was like they had left the car outside without the hood on for days with dust and water spots all over.The chrome trim was bent and would not seal on the windows. The inner fender wells were not retaped into place and left loose as the fenders were removed to paint the hood. There was excess polish on the edges of the inner fenders that would not come off and the paint on the hood had some scuffs in it from the sanding.
I went back to Toyota with a list of issues and they delt with all of them to my satisfaction its just why did I have go back a second time because of careless and messy work. I left the car there for another 3 days to get it fixed up with no rental. It used to be if I went to Toyota for body work or any work you just drive away knowing they did everything right the first time. No more I guess. -

When I got my car back, it had even been cleaned inside and out! Not very many places actually do that anymore.
I will be getting all of my vehicle maintenance needs taken care of by Taylor Auto Group in the future.
