We enjoy our family holidays at Manitou Beach. We have camped in the campground and stayed in the spa hotel. The beach is good and swimming in the salt lake is a one of a kind experience. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the beach. It would be nice if there was an area dogs were allowed.

A quaint little gem of a town with a salt water lake and beaches. Super fun in the summer months.

Overall, the place is quaint, but gets old fast after a couple days... Not much to see in the way of shops and restaurants. With the exception of the ice cream store (delicious, big variety, and reasonable prices...) the restaurants in particular are overpriced. Best to eat in Watrous , then drive in for a visit.

We come here every year for the last 9 and will continue to come. It is a beautiful place for relaxing, good food and great people.

My girlfriends and I make an annual pilgrimage here. The lake is a novelty to swim in. The antique shops and weekend market is always interesting. It's quaint and scenic. It should be on everyone's bucket list.
