Fun hiking but not easy. Expert level.
Prettier in the winter time ☺️
This was a great hike that the kids love. The long trail going South has some up and down. The gulch was nice and cool on a hot day. We took Babcock trail back and it was a lot flatter. Total time was about 2.5 hours for the 5 miles
Not a very difficult hike. Pretty mild but feels a bit long. No huge hills and the rock part is cool, both visually and temperature wise and there is some pretty vegetation. We saw moose tracks and a beaver. If you go a bit further it will bring you to the cabin in that area which is near a look out point. The trail is very buggy so bring big spray!
Devil's gulch is a fun section of the long trail! It has some cool boulders and if you are a fan of this part, I'd recommend the Clara bowen trail nearansfield as well
