Vita Huset, Swedish-Inspired Extended Stay

The Vita Huset is a great find in the heart of Newport. The rooms are small apartments, and have all the amenities for home cooking, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying Newport in general. The house is a 7 minute walk from everything in Downtown Newport, and a 2 mile walk/run to the bike trail. The house is quiet at night, but next to a daycare during the day, so you can hear children laughing and playing after 8 AM. There is wifi, free parking, and free laundry available.

I stayed with Ruth for 3 months in unit 3. The apt was very comfortable. Nice kitchen, full size oven/stove. Bed was comfy. Ruth was incredibly helpful with information about the area. Ruth also was awesome with my dogs. If I ever make it back that way I will certainly stay there again. Place was also very clean and had a nice porch.
