The Island Inn at 123 West

Stayed in the Euro room with no windows, not a big deal. Nice room, free fruit tray every day if you want it, and super friendly and helpful staff. Had an adjoining family room if you need more space. The location and free parking of this hotel simply can not be beaten. The only minor bad thing is the towels really rough, like a kitchen towel. That is the only bad thing I could come up with!

Arrived in Friday Harbor on the last ferry only to find that I made a mistake and secured my lodging for the incorrect date.
Monique answered the after hours line around 11:30 and drove in to secure us a room.
She arrived and was bright and friendly, excellent customer service and saved us from sleeping outside when no one else answered their phones!

Wow! Just wow! I'm not sure they could have thought of any more perfect touches, cause this place had them all! We know where we will be staying the next time we visit! Thank you for a memorable time!

Excellent stay.
There's not much to not like about this place. The staff really knock themselves out to make sure your stay is excellent. I especially appreciated the LED lights and that the shampoo was in refillable containers.
Very short walk from the ferry terminal, and close to the shopping.
Helpful hint #1. The standard rooms have no view and concrete walls. There is a common room for folks that stay in these rooms, I would recommend upgrading to a room with a view. Worth it.
Helpful hint #2. To avoid the $16.00 a night parking fee, park on t he street by the courthouse behind the hotel. A short walk saves a lot.

Location was nice, the view from the forest room was mostly trees but you could see the lake just through them which made for a beautiful morning view. The room was nice and clean. Shower had a lower pressure than I would have liked but didn't ruin the experience. Outdoor jacuzzi was hot and relaxing on a chilly fall night. Hosts were welcoming and nice. We requested a later breakfast than the normal time which was also no problem with the hosts.
