Lopez Island Medical Clinic: Wilson Robert A MD

I'm going to be as brief as I can be. I hope you can read between the lines.
I'm getting on in years, and I've visited, serially, almost a dozen primary care providers (GPs) in my life. Dr. Wilson is one of the two best I have visited. His interviews are brief and to the point, without missing anything important. He listens very carefully to what I say, and knows how to ask questions that get to the information I don't know to convey. I always get the impression that he has listened, has heard me, and has done a complete interview and examination, without leaving things undone or wanting. He is efficient, and his brevity may leave some with a sense that he has hurried, but he is hurried by the situation of being the only doctor on an island with roughly 2.500 residents and an additional 3,000 tourists for much of the year. That is a lot for a single practitioner. He does have a good Nurse Practitioner to back him up, but for much of his practice, he's it.
So, I come to one conclusion, I trust him - I believe that I am getting the best treatment available.
