Zodiac Sailing Schooner

I went on this trip with my school and a few staff members for a whole week. I never experienced something like this and never will. I even tried asking the captains permission to marry the amazing and elegant vessel, as a joke, and he refused. I am definitely interested in joining the volunteer group to do more sailing in the future.

Love being on this vessel. However, volunteers could be more proactive in teaching basic sailing concepts and terminology to make it more educational.

This is a very cool place for tourists or for young kids. They have a ton of signage with educational hostorical facts and stories about the area.
They have a small cafeteria here, so if you are really hungry eat before hand.

Also, they have fishing and crabbing spots here; just be careful and read the signage. Not all spots on this pier are open for fishing and crabbing.

What a great way to experience the beautiful Bellingham Bay sunsets

It doesn't get much better than this. I did three three day trips on the zodiac with my school, and it was amazing. The crew was always nice and very knowledgeable. They taught us a lot about the science of sailing, knot tying, and the local wildlife. I would recommend it to anyone, and it's worth every penny.
