(March 31, 2017, 5:10 am)I have been bringing my 10 year old son to Kornerstone Kids for Occupational Therapy each week, for the past 6 months. I have been so incredibly impressed by the staff! The receptionist is approachable, flexible, and understanding of scheduling difficulties since I am a mother to three young kids. She sends a text reminding me of each appointment the day before, giving me plenty of time to cancel, if I need to. The OT really "gets" my son. She took time to build a trusting relationship and knows just how much to push him at each session. She spends time checking in with me to find out about his progress at school and at home. My son looks forward to, and genuinely enjoys his weekly appointments! I have been in education for 20 years and am currently an Intervention Specialist in the Bellingham school district. In my career, I have seen a plethora of professionals in action, and can recognize those who have a heart for the neurodiverse kids this world is blessed with. While I wait during his sessions, I am not only able to observe my son's therapist, but also the other professionals (speech, PT) who are serving clients at the same time. Across the board, they are all kid-centered, compassionate, and dedicated to the families with whom they work. Without reservation, I highly recommend Kornerstone Kids to anyone looking for pediatric therapy!

Everyone there has been very kind with us and whenever I need to reschedule they are able to work around it. Our therapist is amazing and both my kids have progressed very well with her. I highly recommend this place!
