Great place to ride bikes!
Beautifull place for leisurely walks and good times
They could use more parking, but the trails here are suitable for all ages and abilities. Dog friendly, bike friendly, access to the water. Several trails along the route.
It is a meandering long path with some pretty cool features... waterfalls, bridges, large rock formations. My only wish is that people would leash their dogs, I got cornered by a pack of them... At first I was mildly amused they were smaller breeds but when there are at least six of them it's a little intimidating.
Well maintained trail, with a moderate amount of parking. Good areas for walking pets, running/walking, or to set up a hammock.
Enjoy views of Lake Whatcom, the surrounding hills, waterfalls, and giant old Douglas Fir trees. Lake Whatcom Park gives visitors the opportunity to stroll by the lake and walk through a lush forest. The interpretive kiosk, located at the lakeshore, tells the story of Lake Whatcom and its significance to our community.
