Acupuncture Health Center

I was an employee at Acupuncture Health Center for six years. During the first year, I focused on learning my job as the office manager and medical biller, and since I had no experience with Acupuncture or Chinese Herbs as a treatment option, I didn't partake in that benefit at first. After a year of witnessing my chronic, debilitating migraines (and related fatigue), Scott Paglia almost insisted that I try needles and herbs. I wouldn't be writing this review had I not experienced PERMANENT relief from those migraines because of Acupuncture, Herbs, and a few simple lifestyle changes that I hadn't even thought of until I was under Scott Paglia's care and that of Tia Hutton, L.Ac. It didn't end with the relief from migraines, of course. I then addressed a list of chronic illnesses and symptoms including insomnia, anxiety, hip pain, PCOS and even Ulcerative Colitis. These were issues for which I had been receiving Western medical treatment over years and years, if not decades, and had no lasting results - in fact, the side effects from pharmaceuticals only added to my misery. Chinese medicine was my last resort to treat those ailments, but knowing what I know now, it will be my first from this point forward.

I first met Scott Paglia L.Ac. in 2004. I was diagnosed with gallstones and did not want to have surgery. I followed Scott's recommendations for acupuncture & herbs. The stones went away AND I found a greater quality of life. It has been 11 years, the gallstones never returned and acupuncture is the first medicine I use to support my health. I recommend all of my friends and family to the Acupuncture Health Center. They are the best in Bellingham.

I recently had my first consultation at Acupuncture Health Center with Tia Hutton. It was definitely the most comprehensive in-take a doctor has ever done with me. It is obvious that they want to get the "full picture" about what is going on. Tia was very easy to talk to about health concerns. I occasionally get anxiety during acupuncture treatments, and she was able to give me several examples of specific ways they can make the experience more relaxing for me. Thanks AHC!
