I scanned the store for a couple of hours when it first opened and determined what I wanted to buy there ongoing.
Staples; including bakery, dairy, canned goods, some meats, and most of the deli were a good bargain.
But I have say here, the produce does not hold like other stores in town.
So disappointing.
The majority of the help was very nice...especially in customer service and the deli.

Lowest food cost is at WinCo yes. Sometimes I find the quality might be below Fred Meyer but TOTALLY ABOVE ACCEPTABLE

I lost an item of mine while shopping here (though at the time I thought it might have been stolen). I asked for help at customer service. Store staff were very kind, helped me search, and when a normal search turned up nothing they took the time to replay their security video, found me on video leaving my item behind, and helped me retrieve it. Obviously this all took quite some time, and it was clearly my fault, but still everyone was very nice about it. Thanks!

Plus it's the best-balanced grocery store in town - there are cheaper ones, but the cheaper ones have poor selection; there are stores that carry more of the high-end items, but their prices on everything are disproportionately higher. WinCo has truly good-quality fresh foods (fruits & vegetables, meat) and enough selection of everything else so that most of the time there's no need or reason to go elsewhere for groceries. And I already mentioned the helpful staff, so there you go. ????

This place is cheap, well organized, and has everything I need! Service was amazing, and I'm still all happy about the low, low prices and the wonderful selection. My family and I are thinking about switching this to our main store for groceries, even though it's nearly five times as far away from us than our default (Safeway). Totally recommended, the service is great as well.
