Great convenience store/market that doesn't fall into the standard cliche' of other convenience stores. They have a good enough selection of groceries to keep you from having to go in town and many items are in line price-wise as Haggen and Safeway. They also sell Hemplers for only 50 cents more than at Haggen, Oregon based Lochmead Farms ice cream that is in a HALF GALLON for $6.99 with a dozen flavors and they are good! They also have a good selection of grill items, supplies as well as the basic grocery fare at the standard convenience store prices. Very large beer cave and wine selection as well. They also carry frozen premium chicken, beef, and fish in their frozen case and their deli is very good on the standard items as well as very good juicy burgers and sandwiches. Gas prices are in the upper half of what you pay in Bellingham but not the highest. They are open 6:00 am to 11:00 pm every day and you also get really good friendly service ALL THE TIME. Considering its not a standard generic chain convenience store and caters to the community especially so you can get what you need to hold you over til you head into town next time. Also they have more than enough parking even when busy.
Amazing selection of snacks and treats. Delicious, freshly made food and coffee. Prices tend to be a little above average here, though.
I was working nearby and went in for a sandwich. Little did I know I was going to be treated to the BEST pulled Pork sandwich I had ever had! Order the "Big Kahuna" A toasted bun with a pineapple slaw, Deep fried Onion rings and a large helping of Kahlua Pork. The textures, balance of flavors and portions were on point. This sandwich was a little over $9.00 Can't wait to have another one. Thank you
Valley Market has decent quality, but takes advantage of the convenience-aspect of their location. Expect to pay significantly more than a market in town.
Ordered a "Full" deli sandwich (Pictured) which came to a hair over $7 with tax.
