Renew Wood

We responded to an ad for salvaged Douglas-fir boards which we intended to use in a home remodel project. When we arrived at Jeffrey & Elaine’s home we were surprised to find not only an extensive selection of lovingly salvaged Douglas-fir, but also the beginnings of a wonderful friendship that lasts to this day.

Jeffrey is an innovative woodworker who gears his craft toward works of function and art. The materials he uses embodies his effort towards sustainability giving new life and reverence to reclaimed old growth timbers.

Jeffrey has been a remarkably patient and generous friend and mentor. I am grateful for our friendship that grew out of our mutual appreciation for ancient timbers. Jeffrey’s radiant heart emanates from all of his works.

We recently completed a job with Renew Wood, and it was a fantastic experience. We are a general contractor, and I have rarely had the chance to work with someone with as much attention to detail and fantastic communication skills as Jeffrey. Wholeheartedly recommended.
