Alaska Wild Fish & Chip Co.

We had chicken strips (kids) and cod 2 piece. Good standard fare, fish was rather oily and the fries just average. Refillable lemonade was excellent, and they have all the condiments you need. Even picnic tables. Clearly a well run food truck, I would definitely eat here again and try something else on the menu. Prices fair.

Love this place. Local owners! Will miss it after September and look forward to next May when it opens through the summer!
The fish 'n chips are great, the salmon 'n chips; fabulous, (seasonal!) the tender calamari is the best I've ever had....not overcooked. Clam chowder good, also.

This food truck serves a nice and simple seafood menu and seems to be a favorite with the locals but can be easy to miss if you don't know it's there. It's just off Marine drive and a couple minutes from downtown Blaine and the Canadian Border. The Cod fish and chips taste amazing in part due to the quick turn around from the time the fish are caught to the time it's served. They use Alaska Amber beer batter for the deep fried coating and it isn't overly battered but just enough to have a crispy coating that doesn't take away from the flavor of the fish. When I visited they happened to have salmon fish and chips too...freshly caught and delicious. The fries are shoestring style and decent but nothing super special. The wait time wasn't bad and the covered picnic table seating area was a nice feature, especially with the view of the Marina right there. This is a seasonal operation and their website says they operate from June 1st to September 30th.
