Birch Bay Waterslides

It's pretty far for us, so not worth making the trip often. But it's low-key, not too crowded, great fun for my kids. Everything looks old, but my kids enjoyed their day so whatever. Used a Groupon to make it even better.

Not super fancy, but we always have such a great time here! There is a bit of variety: some water sides with tubes, some without, a kids pool, and the 'extreme' black slides. The best part is that you can bring in your own food and drink so you don't have to buy expensive concessions or go back to your car. The lines are never too long and parking is free. Really can't beat it for the price, especially on a nice day :)

Went for the first time last weekend and it was the perfect family outing. The staff were attentive. The water was clean. The lines were short. The bathrooms were clean during the morning and got worse throughout the day, as expected for a water park. The ice cream was delicious. We brought our own food and set up our tents for the day which made the family day even more affordable. The weather was a perfect mid-80. My family plans on making this place a stop during our summertime travels. Thanks for the fun and memories Birch Bay Waterslides!

The birch bay water slides are a fun way to spend an evening with your kids. I myself got a groupon deal, making entry tickets a steal for me and 3 other people. There is plenty of seating areas, accompanied by you're favorite colored plastic lawn chairs. Food there is no doubt expensive, as food is at every water slide venue. The slides themselves are not too shabby for a small town. They have a selection of 5 main water slides open for the whole day, which you can ride by yourself or, if you are a parent or an older person, with your child. The other slides are on a large black tower to the right. These consist of a large drop slide, and a tube slide. The problem I have with this place is that, despite the amount of seating, barely any of it is in the shade, and the picnic benches that are in the shade must be rented out. While not being an unpleasant experience, this surely isn't my go-to water slide venue
