(August 12, 2018, 10:41 pm)Exquisite little hike. Get there early, though. The Douglas Fir campground connects to the trail. As soon as the kids are up and fed, they will be on the trail or at the river. It's a very easy hike with a little altitude gain, but nothing my lazy teenage children couldn't hack. We went in August when the Nooksack is probably at its lowest, but it still looked full and raging to us.
