Fields and forests edge the North Fork Nooksack River surrounding the park. Sunny picnic tables invite a leisurely break any time of the year, but the greatest attraction occurs from December through March, as majestic bald eagles congregate here to feast on spawned salmon.
Reserve a lakeside cabin at Silver Lake Park in northern Washington - one of the beautiful Whatcom County Parks.
This picturesque memorial park is located behind the Van Zandt Community Center.
Availabilty may not reflect walk-in guests already at the park. If there are only a few sites left, you can contact the park at (360) 599-2776 to check, but any remaining sites are strictly first-come, first served.
This camping area accommodates large groups and is popular with RV clubs, churches and large family gatherings. Group Camp includes a central large picnic shelter with picnic tables, serving counters, two 4-burner stovetops, kitchen sink and several fire pits.
