Driving back up here from Fort Saskatchewan, and close to thorhild, the engine of the terrain decided it no longer wanted to keep the contents of its crankcase where they belonged. A hole blew out the side of the block, followed by a symphony of knocking, a few bangs and as it gasped its last breath, a truly impressive smoke screen from the base of the windshield.

Typically, getting something like this repaired under warranty is a lengthy process with a fair bit of frustration, but this is where I can’t express how happy I am with the service I received.

We had the vehicle towed in on the 27th of September when the engine blew. Today, the 12th, it’s completed and back on the road.

9 business days from time of tow in and we had a warranty claim approved, engine replaced, and the car back on the road and in our possession.

Well done guys! That is some impressive turn around!
