I have been working with Jake for over a year now. He is amazing at identifying imbalances and setting up a program to make the necessary corrections. I feel so lucky to have found Jake - he has giving me confidence to continue to pursue my love of figure skating. Heck he even kept me working out after a significant leg injury. On top of it he is a really nice guy! The Bow Valley is lucky to have someone of his caliber and skill set.
I have been working with Jake for over 5 years and he is simply the best. For someone who was new to the gym, training with Jake has given me the confidence to work at improving my health through our sessions, diet and to push myself through my previous limits. During this time I was involved in a car accident and with Jake’s knowledge and skill he was able to assist me to keep moving during this time. I consider myself fortunate to be able to train with Jake on regular basis!
I’ve worked with Jake for a variety of different reasons — injury recovery/prevention, improving performance in high level gymnastics, and more recently, to transition away from gymnastics and into a fun and challenging workout routine. He’s always been so knowledgeable, supportive and motivating throughout my journey. Jake also has been amazing at creating variety in each and every workout he has designed for me to keep them super engaging and fun! Thanks Jake!
Jake has been my trainer for several years. He is always professional, caring, intuitive to my needs and really knowledgeable. With his help I have been able to stay active and in good shape. I lost 20 lbs in the last two years because of his help and encouragement. I have been able to walk many miles most days. And last but not least my bones are still strong and in good shape. He'll be great if you are an athlete needing more strength and performance training, or an older person like myself who needs to keep my body moving and strengthening. With Jake, you'll be in good hands.
I have been training with Jake for over 3 years. I started to strengthen my knee prior to knee replacement. We worked full body exercises. I felt strong and confident when I had my knee replacement and my recovery was rapid and easy. My physio was amazed at how well I did and I was back cycling in 3 months and skiing in 6 months. I continued with training with Jake twice weekly and still do so. He pivoted rapidly to virtual training during Covid and that has worked well for me. He is so observant virtually and is able to correct posture, position etc. He is also able to quickly adapt to new issues that have arisen in my aging body!! Jake is a knowledgeable, skilled, fun trainer to work with. I highly recommend him!
