A little gem in Blackfalds
I eat here about once a month and I always have the Wonton Soup. It's always delicious and they make any changes to the soup that I request. Excellent customer service every time.
Could not be happier with my experience here. I ways love when I take my 2 year old son somewhere and the staff really make a
Fuss over him and make him feel like part of the experience too and our server as well as even a few members of staff from the back came out to greet him and ask him how his food was and coo over how cute he is etc. It made us both very happy and the service was excellent.
As for the food, I consider myself a bit of a Chinese food connoisseur and this was some of the best I've had you could tell everything was fresh and delicious. Every detail from the rice to the crispiness of the sweet and sour pork to the sauce on the beef and greens was above and beyond what I'm used to so good! The prices are decent and the portions are huge, even the pop glasses are bigger than a lot of places. I came in from camrose so it's a bit of a trek for us to come back soon but will definitely recommend to others!
Always have loved this place for lunch and or dinner. Always one of my favorite places to go.
I've been a lot of places and tried a lot of Chinese food in my time. Annie's is AMAZING. The food here has flavor and that flavor is NOT salt or soy sauce. You can taste the flavors of everything going in to each dish from the fresh meats and vegetables to the heat from the wok. This is something that you just don't get from almost any other place I've been in Alberta.
My daughter had chicken fingers and fries and the chicken fingers looked to be fresh breaded chunks of fresh chicken breast. The fries were Perfectly cooled thick cut fries. The dish got two thumbs up. We split a combo b for 1 (fried rice, beef with broccoli, and sweet and sour pork with a egg roll, your other option is wonton soup) it was delicious. Our table also split an order of deep-fried wontons and let me tell you I've never ordered these anywhere and gotten the portion we got here!
Annie's is definitely worth the stop for an eat in or for an order for takeout or delivery. Heck while we were here someone even came from Red Deer just for a takeout order so I'm not the only one who thinks it's worth a drive.
