Garage Suites Calgary

We are very pleased with the end result of our garage and garage suite. The company is very reliable, and worked through the COVID lockdown with the many challenges that involved. Great ideas and helpful in the design phase, and also helped us through all phases of construction, answering all questions along the way.

I researched two other companies for my planned garage suite and Garage Suites Calgary was the top choice and I am very happy with that decision! Covid was not kind to the process in the beginning because of City delays and supply issues but once they got started, it was full steam ahead. It was just sad for them to have to work in miserable winter conditions. Some of their contractors were so meticulous and masters of their craft (siding and tile, especially!). Some weren’t quite up to my expectations but they always made sure I was happy. Having lived here for six months now, there are a few things I would have done differently but there is nothing critically wrong. I now have my own, one bedroom private apartment with a cozy fireplace, great kitchen and awesome mountain view, in very close proximity to my daughter and grandchildren making it a lovely symbiotic convenience. Garage Suites was always very tolerant and caring about any questions and concerns I had.
Everyone else loves my place, as well. They all agree, this was the best decision I made. Being a senior with very limited resources, I did not spend more than I had and that was a huge worry. I wish I could do this again at my other daughter’s house.

There are so many aspects to building a garage suite that they are aware of. Anything in our plans from our original design that needed to be adjusted was done without issues. Having a separate living space within the same property makes perfect sense, reducing our carbon footprint. They even took care of rezoning and municipal addressing properly. From start to finish, the experience was phenomenal! It’s like having a one bedroom apartment in our backyard. Thanks Garage Suites Calgary!
