Truly Authentic Mexican 🇲🇽
Highly recommend both the pozole and beef birria soups.

We loved the flavor of their mole sauce and soaked up every last drop with our tortillas.

The molcajete was incredibly filling and had great flavor. Beautiful presentation. Our cheese never melted, and I wasn't sure it was supposed to.

The churros were not my favorite. However, the other diners thought they were great.

We all agreed, "I can not wait to bring _____ (insert family/foodie friend name) here to try it!"

Incredible ambiance, well-balanced flavors, tasty margaritas, lovely owners! 9/10 for me!

Tried out Casa Catrina today.
We got sat down at a dirty table but they cleaned it promptly once it was brought to our servers attention.
The ambiance inside is very nice and I guess you could say authentic, with Spanish music playing and all.
Lots of neat decorations as well all around the restaurant.
We enjoyed the tacos and some margaritas. They were very delicious.
All in all we had a goo experience and will be coming here again.
Even got to see the birthday song they sing for birthday celebrations.

Always eager to try Mexican food in Calgary as it hasn’t been as available until the last few years. It’s nice to enjoy a variety of Mexican cuisine. Different regions represented. I thought this restaurant was unique in that they offered dishes with red, green, and mole’ sauces. The chips were homemade and wished they were a bit thinner and served warm. flavour wise they were delicious as was the homemade salsa. Not every place offers these free either so that was very nice! We were a party of five and I captured two of the best dishes we ordered. Tacos and enchiladas were good and presented well.

A brand new authentic Mexican restaurant in the far north end of the city.

We got the starter nachos, enchiladas & tacos. The good was superb & the drinks were even better. I'm definitely coming back here to test out the bar after the full launch.

What a true delight to have dinner here . It’s a brand new , newly opened restaurant. Opened this past Sunday . Offers number of excellent Spanish dishes , True Mexican food . Big thanks to the manger (owner) Andrea .

One of the best experiences I ever had eating out a restaurant here in Calgary my own town .

We often go to Canadian food places , pizza or burgers style restaurants so this was a true treat . New different style food & drinks .

She took the time to explain the whole menu , all the drinks they had . Went over everything as we non Spanish speaks . Didn’t know the dishes . Which was so nice of her . Helped us understand what we wanted

We had tacos , quesadillas enchiladas & nachos.

The tacos were the best I’ve ever had in Canada felt like I was in Mexico but with my parents (family) 🥺🥺♥️.

The echiladas were so delicious, fresh , excellent cook.

We had small nachos which was more then enough for us . So good . So fresh , all the vegetables & topings were so soft & fresh . So delicious best ever .

All the food was really hot & Fresh fresh food !

Also the drinks we had beer which they had variety of Mexican drinks . Which were really good .

The place was pretty busy , all the people inside seemed very happy , pleasant with the food & service .

The service was excellent, very good . I appreciate all your friendly , helpful staff . Anything we needed they were happy to help us with . Really really good service ! Excellent experience.
