Northstar Bicycle YYC

I decided to quickly stop at Northstar to check out the Orbea lineup, and ended up burning up an afternoon with Andrew E. trying on almost every style of bike in the shop. I wasn't sure what I wanted, so Andrew patiently took the time to walk me through all the different lines and eventually get me into the exact bike I wanted. (With ended up being the first bike he showed me)

The best customer service experience I've had in a very long time! Andrew Engelleder is fantastic. He's super knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable even when you're new to biking and asking the simplest of questions. No pressure, just information.
Originally, I was going to go with the Velec A2, however when I came into pick it up, Andrew suggested a different model of the Velec that would fit my needs better than the one I had my eye on- without upselling. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend Northstar to anyone who is looking for a new bike.

My husband and I were interested in purchasing E bikes. We had many questions and Andrew Jones was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We could tell he had a lot of experience selling and servicing bicycles. He spent time with us explaining many things. We bought 2E bikes and have been very pleased with our purchases. Andrew’s service was personal and top notch!

We absolutely love going here - we even make a special trip down to Calgary to go see Andrew Jones for all things BMX.

He has incredible knowledge of the sport and is always very kind and extremely helpful.

Northstar has been to several of our events and we always love seeing them there. We’ve also been down to rent e-bikes to tour the city and they are always very accommodating - not just Andrew but all of them. :)

There’s a reason these guys are rated 5 stars! Ive been lucky to have some amazing experiences at bike shops but to say these guys are the best is an understatement. I first met Andrew(sales team) last fall when I was looking for an eBike for my wife and he literally treated me like a good friend and took the time to explain all the differences to me and showed me what to look for.
I’m not sure how to put this part but there is one negative if you can call it that haha. I’ve been on the fence for myself on an eBike and he again spent more time showing me the different e bikes and what they’re capable of. I went in excited for my wife to to get one but left more excited for myself to get one so the negative part is my wallet because now I purchased 2 e bikes😂.

I had a minor issue with my bike so I went in today to their new location which is just behind the old one and this place was amazing with tons of accessories and bikes. Andrew greeted me right away and remembered me which was cool and then introduced me to the tech Andrew(as well) and he right away got to work on my bike. While I was waiting for my bike I chatted with Andrew and his love of bikes and riding just shows with his enthusiasm.

Andrew the tech got my minor issue resolved in no time and took it for a spin to make sure and he noticed the motor wasn’t updated so he did that for me and my bike is even more fun to ride now. I just showed up with no appointment so to get that service from Andrew we was amazing.

Really appreciate the awesome service Andrew and Andrew! You guys are an asset to the biking community
