Golden Jade Palace Seafood & Dim Sum Restaurant

We dined in for dinner and everything was fresh and delicious and the staff was courteous
and attentive. The beef and broccoli was my favourite dish. They did a great job making the space more inviting as well. The interior used to be very dark and broken up and now it is wide open and bright. Can't wait to try the dim sum.

Been waiting for this place to open! It’s kinda weird because I’ve been to Tudor Rose and Windsor Rose, both pubs at this location before. Now it’s a Chinese restaurant! The decor is nice, not dark like the pubs but big open space to fit lots of tables (60+). This place was busy and all the table full there was a small waiting line. The food was good, portions were a bit smaller and our food took quite a long time to get to table. We had like 2 dishes on the table all the time. Portions you can see in the photos are a bit small and some of these were their super large dish at higher prices. I’m pretty sure this restaurant is run by the chain of restaurants in Calgary as I recognize some of the staff from our restaurants. All in all a good NW option in Calgary and with 14th street over pass open it’s nice and easy to get to. Good place to try out in NW Calgary!

Been anticipating to try out this place for a while now. Finally got a chance to stop by for a late lunch (1pm) on a Tuesday. They were quite busy, but we were seated fairly quickly, the service was good. The food came out fast. The dim sum was delicious, it didn’t taste salty 🙌🏼 which is an A+ in my books. Will definitely be back to try out the dinner menu.

The take out was quite tasty. The noodle container was a lot heavier then most places, and cooked well. Not overly salty. The salted egg prawns were cooked well, good flavours and a nice tooth feel when you bite into the prawns. Good location, good quality food. Prices are a touch higher however you do get quite a bit for what you paid and pretty decent quality.
