Velvet Cafe

We live in the area and have always enjoyed the coffee, occasional treat and occasional meal. Recently we reached out for a catered meal which they nailed. The turkey, veggies, stuffing, and potatoes were delicious, as was the gravy and cranberry sauce. We will order again.

Always wanted to check out this cafe as I keep passing by it and I’m glad I did bright and early today! Lovely friendly staff, food is DELICIOUS wow (got the blueberry muffin and pork belly breakfast sandwich) 🤩 and the chai tea is spot on. All around great vibes!

I love Velvet Cafe! Their mochas are made with homemade chocolate ganache and are the best in the city. Their sandwiches, croissants and meals are always delicious too. Highly recommend!

I really love this coffee shop, it's just a shame its a little hidden but it just makes it that much more special and exclusive! My favourites to order are their chai lattes and white chocolate mochas (omg, such a great treat drink!) and their baked goods and food are really great. They support other local businesses in shop which I also love, it's just overall a great little hidden gem cafe in the neighbourhood of Mt. Pleasant. Tried Velvet Cafe for the first time. If you’re looking for a great coffee or a fantastic breakfast sandwich, you’ve got to stop by here. Their maple pork belly feature sandwich was just epic. They also have an interesting curation of BBQ Sauces, honey, spices, and other groceries on sale. Definitely in my top 5 coffee stops in Calgary from now on.
