Amaranth Foods - Southland Market

Been in a few times already since they opened. They have a wonderful selection of Gluten free items which I need. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Love that they have a rewards program for bringing your own bags!!

Very nice store! They did a great job renovating and have a nice selection. I think the prices were comparable to anywhere else for similar products. Staff were friendly!

I discovered TATE’s Ginger Zinger Cookies while temporarily living down in Arizona, and those Cookies immediately became a “regular enjoyment” shall we say.
Then came the day I had to return to Calgary.
For two years I was on the focussed search, but NO TATE’s Ginger Zinger Cookies. Disappointment after disappointment, like searching for a lost love, those TATE’s Ginger Zinger cookies eluded me.
Not being a marathoner, I gave up that constant focus (ok, yes, obsession) of looking down those cookie aisles wherever I was…
And then Amaranth moved into our neighbourhood…
There I was innocently, almost hazily, browsing up and down the aisles getting to know the lay of the store, and all of a sudden, a TATE’s Ginger Zinger Cookie bag right in front of my eyes! I am immediately transported to an elated state, - OK not as good as Bliss, but good.
So I Welcome You, Amaranth family, to the neighbourhood. You have now gained another regular customer.
And, no, I’m not forgetting all the other product choices… we’re a lucky district to have you!
