The Pumphouse Theatre

Comfortable new seats amazing change, cosy. Actors crazy talented. Very family friendly panto. Unique historical theatre oozes charm and presence. Great job to Directors.

New seats are much more comfortable (main section, balcony has not been upgraded.) Excellent acoustics and lighting, and you aren't too far from the stage. My only complaint is that the tickets were sold as row 5 and the actual seat was labeled row D, (not only is it letters vs numbers, it's off by one. Row D was row 5 not row 4.)

Great local theatre, very reasonably priced. Good seats, and always a good production.

Saw the excellent performance of O'kosi. 5 stars for the performance, but the seating is very tight and not meant for larger bodies or broad shoulders. Some seats are at a 90° angle to the stage and against a wall which would make it impossible to see the whole stage, but those seats were not in use for the performance we saw

The grounds surrounding the theatre are filled with lovely pieces of art...go check them out. Pretty beautiful views of downtown available as week. Great access to the pathway.
