Rundle Mountain Lodge

I'll give 4 stars for a 2 star establishment. The staff are very accommodating. We arrived 1½ hours before check in and with a mistake in original booking we were upgraded to a kitchenette suite with a cozy log cabin style interior. Lots of natural lighting from windows at front and rear of suite. The beds were very comfortable as well. I would certainly reserve a room at Rundle Mountain Lodge again!

We headed to Canmore last Sunday, and spent the night at Rundle Mountain Lodge. Not only did we get the room at a cheap price (maybe because it was a Sunday), we also enjoyed our stay in one of their log cabin rooms.

Their log cabin room is a spacious room with 2 Queen beds, with one of the beds in a separate room. The room also had a microwave, fridge and a stove so we had several options when it comes to prepping our food and stuff. And the room was also clean, except for the microwave.

And since we noticed that the microwave was dirty, we complained to the front desk. After a few minutes, they immediately sent their Housekeeping staff to have it replaced.

The only downside during our stay was the guests at the adjacent room were noisy, but overall it was a relaxing stay for my family.

We came back to our room after exploring to find out we had no hot water, called down to the front desk and within an hour it was fixed. Super friendly staff, clean, relaxing. They allow pets and have a playground for kids which is rare. Great price, would go again!

My friend and I came here for a girls getaway from Calgary. We chose this lodge because it wasn't too expensive and looked cute in the photos. It did not disappoint. The staff were great and accommodating. I've already booked a second stay here during the holidays with my husband.
