Thompson Creek Campground

Beautiful well treed campground. If you go over to the loop across the bridge there is a trail. It's a steep climb but it's a great view and worth the effort.

Picked this PP & Campground to split the trip on the Icefields Parkway and never regretted the choice. Nice and easy-going campground, tidy, shady sites and lots of nice trails to take a stroll. We've enjoyed our stay here! Friendly groundskeepers as well!

Very clean campground, host maintains it well, but there is no clean drinking water on site. Well spaced sites with nice hiking in the area - all situated on a gorgeous creek that trails into the forest, in places. Plan to bathe in bug spray. Highway noise can be heard during the day and in the early evening hours but this tapers off later in the evening. Didn't bother me, but it might bother you. No cell service or wifi, if you need that - this won't be the place for you, unless you have starlink.

We love Thompson Creek Campground! Beautiful scenery, spacious sites, we even managed to catch the creek first starting to run this spring. Just remember to be bear aware and respectful as they do like to frequent the area.
