“Beautiful well treed campground. If you go over to the loop across the bridge there is a trail. It's a steep climb but it's a great view and worth the effort.”

“Holy moly beautiful place to stop for great views of the falls and Big Horn Canyon. Fun little hike too!”

“Amazing place to camp in with your trailer as there are also good spots for tents. Maybe a little too close to the highway but didn't bother us a bit. There's a clean and very well maintained outhouse. It can get very crowded in the weekends specially during peak season aka summer. Other than that if waking up next to the magical blue glacier waters is what you want then this is your site 📍”

“This hiking path is amaaaazing!! You can literally walk as long as you want and there are so many trails to choose from besides the main trail. The trail we chose took us on some absolutely spectacular views by the river. There are also restrooms at the beginning of the trail. If you are an avid hiker like me, this is a must see!”

“Beautiful, quiet, well kept, camping spots not too close to others, lots of trees, clean..... One of the best campgrounds we've been to for sure. Plus the general store was awesome and had almost anything you need. Ice was great price also”

“We had a really good experience at this campground! It's pretty clean and staff are friendly. It's quite a large campground though so understandably it's pretty busy.”

“This is one of our favourite Rocky Mountain destinations. Great for hiking and picnicking. It’s usually less busy than most other parts of the park. Sometimes it gets really windy which seems to add to the excitement and adventure. Love this place.”

“The location was beautiful and there is a really nice walking trail the winds in behind some of the campsites. The sites themselves are right next to each other with little/ no distance or barriers between campers and a primary road way is just outside the campside so there is a semi-regular stream of traffic that passes by. When we arrived the campground had several sites available but the owner put us next to the outhouses and made it so we were surrounded by other campers. We were camping with our dog so every time a camper came to use the outhouse, the door would slam and she would bark. It made for a very long night and could have been avoided if we had been given one of the available campsites closer to the back that was surrounded by other vacant sites. Other wise it was a fantastic stay.”

“In the sunlight, the water has the bluest color ever. It offers a fantastic view with the surroundings and hiking possibilities. Some parking space is available and when you get there during fall, take layers of clothes with you. Despite the mild temperatures, the wind makes everything colder. Some seating for.pic-nic is available close to the parking area. Don't expect too much from the available washrooms though. They offer hand sanitizer but the smell can be argues about. However, it doesn't take away the unmatched beauty of this little retreat.”

“Great campsite with an excellent view. Peaceful, tranquil, except for the occasional atv and truck that goes by. Depending on when you go I guess. only 3 or 4 firepits. The good thing is firewood is provided which is nice. If you havent been exploring this part of Alberta, your missing out!”

“The washrooms were clean and its a nice camping spot if you are planning things out of town. It's cheap. You are far from your neighbors which is also great. I would totally camp here again if it was in the area.”

“It's a great little hidden gem... Though I don't agree with the price per day of $24 when all there is is a bathroom. But it's a nice calm get away from the chaos.”

“This place has so much to offer! My wife is pregnant and thinks this place is wonderful for our growing family. I have a son (5) and an daughter (4) who loved the park, and the pool. Rustic River has many things to offer; -Pool ( for all ages) -A pond ( all ages) -A park for the little ones 😆 - Easy river access ( great for skipping rocks, and enjoying the scenery) - A outdoor kitchen -Lots of walking trails You purchase fire wood at the store/office and it isn’t expensive at all. If my memory serves me correctly, 1 bundle (7 or 8 pieces of wood) is $12.00 plus tax 3 bundles for $31.00! And a gator which is 7-8 bundles, and they deliver it to your site, which is $60. The cleanliness was super duper! We stayed, in the 200s but by the river, very calm, and private. The staff were very nice, and loved the kids, they helped us a lot and we’re very understanding. Overall thank-you Rustic River for a great stay and will definitely be considering a long term/ seasonal lease. 👍🏼😜”

“Had a girls weekend I can honestly say I've never had such an awesome time the owners were amazing, good food, reasonable rates. Honestly I cannot even Express my words. All I can say is go to this place you will not be disappointed. We are planning to make this our yearly vacation spot hands down! Thanks again. See you next year!”

“The campsites in the trees are beautiful but anything up top feels a bit like you're in an overflow area. The staff were nice and helpful, and were very friendly. The grounds were kept very clean and well maintained. My only complaint is that this place seems to really dislike dogs. They have to be leashed at all times (understandable), not allowed on the beach (ok) but not allowed to swim if you are away from the beach. Come on! I understand the reasons for not wanting dogs on the beach but perhaps have an area somewhere that they can go? I know there is limited waterfront but many people have dogs in their family and just want to take them out for a bit of fun. Other than that it was an overall good experience.”
