I got new rear brake rotors and pads put on this visit, and as a bonus, the tech pointed out a different issue as soon as he pulled up onto the lift. It turns out that the rear bushings were shot on the front lower control arms. I knew there had to be something causing that clanging I've been hearing for many a moon. Additionaly why the car tends to move more than it should after letting off the brakes and into park, or when torquing the wheels. I am sure glad to finally know what the issue is.
