Wonderful time camping here! Clean facilities, nice trails, free showers. Pits throughout the park. Great playground for kids. Do not go if you're wanting a swim. Firewood is $8/bag.
We come here once every year.. its always a pleasure to play
It's a nice easy par 3...for the first nine.. then challenging for the back nine.
Very beautiful and peaceful.
Loved it!!
Don't go for the beach, it's nasty. BUT it is an awesome campground, amazing bike trails and Alberta Parks does an incredible job. They have discovery backpacks at the info centre, we did geocaching, pond creatures and art in the park and they were so fun. They also have great shows in the outdoor theatre at night, we did nature Bingo and the story of The Ugly Ryan, so well done.
Miquelon Lake Provincial park is a really nice place for a hike and a picnic. The camping sites are also quite nice. The services are new and clean. One of the downsides is that the fire pits in the day use area are all pretty far from the lake and lost of them are surrounded by trees, so you have to walk a ways to get to the lake from them. There is also a farmers market that goes on during the summer on Friday afternoons.
Great provincial park with clean facilities. The signs on the road asking you to not drive over snakes definitely catch your eye. Never did see a snake but it is a beautiful place and well worth the 40 minute drive from Edmonton. Perfect for a day trip for sure, bring the family and a picnic lunch and you will have a terrific time.
