“I have been getting my hair done by Jeannine for nearly a decade, even after I moved to Calgary. Prior to seeing Jeannine, I had a few bad experiences (ex. over-processing hair resulting in hair "melting"), and now I only trust her to do my hair. I have recommended her to my friends and family, and I think she does all of their hair now too. She always has the best recommendations on colour for my skin tone, never cuts too much off, discusses with me in detail what I am looking for, and provides advice on how to maintain the colour and prevent damage. Shadified has a really friendly staff, and make the salon a welcoming experience. They also recommend good products for maintaining colour and to style my hair. I really love the Eleven Australia hair product line, in particular the purple shampoo – I cannot find anything that works or smells better. I have only been able to find the products at Shadified, so I stock up while in town. The prices are really good for the level of experience and the quality. I recommend booking appointments for women’s hair colour/cuts in advance, because Jeannine’s schedule fills up fast! Overall really great experience!”

“MAVN Salon is absolutely amazing! This salon is brand new and beautiful, it has a beautiful and unique European design. All of the products and tools and top of the line and even being in the salon is a great pampering experience. Not only is this salon beautiful but the staff and the owner are incredible. Joanne, the owner, is one of the kindest people you will ever meet and she is such a talented stylist. I have been jumping around from stylists for the past 30 years and I can honestly say that I will not be in search of a new stylist any time soon! The salon also caters to wedding parties and unique events. I was the maid of honour at my best friend's wedding in July and Joanne hosted the bridal party at her salon. It was the most perfect way to start the wedding day and we all left the salon feeling and looking fabulous! I would 100% recommend this salon and their stylists to anyone looking for a cut, colour or styling - you will be beyond happy with the decision to visit MAVN!”

“Came in with my 2yr old son who was suddenly terrified of the clippers and getting his haircut (after already getting his haircut numerous times) and after trying unsuccessfully at another barber and at home. Beaners gave us a lot of options for us to try to ease his experience and in the end were very patient, understanding and resourceful in order to get the cut done. With family pictures upcoming, we're very thankful theyre an option for us. Definitely recommend for anyone in the same situation. The cut was decent and the same price compared to other options in the area.”
