Japanese Village

I'm too tired to cook after a long day at work, so, I convinced by boyfriend to have a date night and try this restaurant.

Its both our first time to a Teppan restaurant. The host was welcoming enough and let us have a table quickly even if we don't have reservations. The server is cheerful and full of energy. And chef Shawn was amazing.

The food was great. Ambiance is nice, too. We'll definitely be back with our little one and other family to share the food and experience

When we arrived at the Japanese village on the South side of Edmonton we were sat down at the table we ordered our drinks and then a family sat down with us I'm not really big on little kids at the table mostly because of the language but when we Had the chef come to the table it was the most amazing experience ever. The chef totally entertained us not only by his amazing skill but by the way he was able to take the kids and everybody and bring us all to one level it was the greatest experience ever the chef had been there for 12 years and I am so happy so grateful so thankful that he was our chef. Thank you for having us as Your guests it was truly an amazing evening. And those children WOW amazing is what they were thank you for seating them with us. Best food in Edmonton 5 Stars!!!!

This was my first Tennpanyaki grill experience and I have to say it was delicious. The service was wonderful and really made the dinner an engaging experience.

We had two young children with us and needless to say they were entertained the entire time.

I ordered the Fillet Mignon and Lobster and my wife New York steak and shrimp.

Both dishes were outstanding as were the side veggies and sauces.

This will probably become a special occasion dinner for us since the entire family loved it so much.

I highly recommend this place.

Very good Japanese teppan restaurant with some fun entertainment from the chefs as they are preparing the meal. The steak and shrimp combo is the recommendation but anything off the grill is pretty good. This place would be a 5 star place if only the sushi bar was as sophisticated as it used to be years ago. Unfortunately, the traditional sashimi and sushi offerings have been significantly pared down. Still a nice place for steak though and quite kid-friendly.

First time indulging in a Teppanyaki experience in my life at this restaurant the other night. My business partner wanted to get Sushi and was looking for a good place since we all got to Edmonton. This restaurant offered so many options where we all got what we wanted!

Had such a fun exciting experience in this Japanese Village Restaurant, the ambience is very authentic with Japanese decor etc. The whole place is very well built with attention to detail.

Everyone had a good time for the duration of our stay, our chef making the food was fun and kept the table entertained with laughter and good conversations. One of the highlights was the magician they had who was very talented. Great to have a nice dinner and a show which was a pleasant surprise.

Only reason I am giving four stars and not five is because the prices are a bit to inflated for what the actual meal consist of. The food quality is good but for the price tag it’s not overwhelmingly high but not quite justifiable.
