“Its dimly lit, uncontrolled and unmarked parking surface adds a sense of adventure every time you pull in and plug some cash into its metre. The locals that hang around the neighbouring back alleys are very friendly and will often offer you goods and services (not complimentary) to enhance your downtown experience. One gentleman I encountered was rifling through the contents of a nearby truck. “Just trying to get home!” he claimed as I placed an incredibly expensive $20 parking pass on my car’s dash. “Say, how would you like a THC Pill?” he inquired, and gave me a warm, nearly toothless grin. He followed by saying, “Only Five bucks each!” I, being a silly South-Edmonton Bumpkin, was unaware that THC came in pill form - wow! Another marvel of Downtown. I did however, decline his kind offer and carried on my way. He promptly returned to his previous task of searching through the truck I was parked next to. I am unsure if he found his way home. Why he didn't just drive home the truck itself is beyond me. Surely nobody would steal a vehicle from this fine Impark lot. Later in the evening, I returned to see my door handles were quite dirty. I assume this was from the kind gentleman making sure I locked my car doors behind me. To him I say "Thank-you good sir!" And to Impark I say "Thank-you" as well, another top-notch parking lot in Edmonton's fine downtown core.”
