Rock & Gem

This store is out of the way on 118 Avenue west of 142 Street. Good selection of Hem incense sticks but I was looking for Hem vanilla incense sticks and they didn't have any in stock. Does anyone out there know where I can buy some? It is the best vanilla scent I have come across. I guess I will Google it. The Hem musk is also very nice.

I have been going to Rock & Gem for years... Did silversmithing there. I would highly recommend this place. The rocks and silver are at a good price. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The owner is the best.

Nice store, easy to find. Excellent selection of tiny polished and raw stones. I found the prices to be very reasonable. There were some stones as little as 25 to 50 cents. If you want a bigger showpiece item there are certainly plenty of options for that as well. Easy system where you write down the price of each item and put the rocks in a little plastic tub then bring them to the cash register. My sister will certainly be thrilled with her Christmas present and we'll be back. Could easily spend an hour or 2 just browsing the selection!

Great place for raw and polished gems. Plus tons of findings and jewelery making supplies. Has silver smithing classes and all the equipment to make custom pieces.

Very friendly and knowlegable staff! Not a very big store but they have a good selection of natural and polished rocks, as well as lots for jewellery making packed into space. Selection of incense as well. Apparently they also host silver-work classes. It is well organized. Prices were average as compared to most Edmonton rock and gem stores, some good deals, some stuff a bit steep. Will visit again but it is closed February 1st to 18th.
