Place is practically deserted, which is a definite plus for me. :)
Community garden is under used, half of it seems abandoned and one picnic table by the garden plots is taped up. Not cool.
A good place to celebrate a party for 150 to 200 people. Easily accessible but facilities seems very old especially the washroom.
Very nice amenity in the mature South Central Edmonton. The park features numerous soccer fields (natural turf), 2 baseball diamonds, hockey rink, 2 playgrounds and a gazebo. Well maintained, however walking trails could be better. I suggest that the community league replace the asphalt with nice sidewalks. In respect to the Charles Anderson park across 106th street, duggan park could add some LED lamp posts to keep the park safe at night. Duggan has been known for increased crime activity in the last decade, but neighborhood revitalization is on track and is making a difference. I think more lighting is critical to increase safety and deter the wrong crowd from loitering in the duggan parks. As the city of Edmonton densifies, duggan will become a desirable neighborhood with plenty of green space and easy access to downtown by car and train.
Needs a little spring spruce up but nice equipment. Good community hall. Fair amount of parking.
Equipment is decent, but the park itself is incredibly dirty -- time of garbage in the sand, graffiti on buildings, benches and play equipment.
