“This park hosts at least 3 public gazebos, with pathways wrapping around a tiny forest. There are plenty of trees in just the right places to make it all wonderfully scenic. It's a nice clean quiet park, perfect for meditation or even a picnic. Like a secret get away - a real gem.”

“Love this park! It is so big and has a section for smaller kids as well with toddler swings, a little toddler play ground. In summer this park is a spray park. The overall structure for kids older than toddler is awesome, it's huge and has so many things to do plus many swings to enjoy. Beside the park is a big open field where kids can play with soccer balls, footballs, frisbee etc. Parking is street parking and it fills up fast but near by streets have side walks that lead right to the park. Everyone in the area loves this park, it's very popular.”

“Great park. Recycled tire ground so it's soft for footing and falls. Activities are good for most toddlers and youth. They're adding new features so I'm sure this park will be a main attraction in the neighborhood soon. Far enough from the road so it's safe for children to play. Large field on the west side of the park for kids to go run and play.”

“Place is practically deserted, which is a definite plus for me. :) Community garden is under used, half of it seems abandoned and one picnic table by the garden plots is taped up. Not cool.”

“This is nice park with lots of open areas and green spaces. There are several sheltered areas that can be reserved for larger groups. There is several public facilities that are part of the park. Telus World of Science, lawn bowling, an indoor pool, tennis courts and a community centre with a playground and the original planetarium before the Telus World of Science. There is lots of walk ways to walk around. Spring time is good as all the Lilacs bloom and the aroma is great. There is ample parking. The facilities in the park do have washrooms but the actual park does not have washrooms.”

“The best mobile home park in the Edmonton area. The location provides easy access to major thoroughfares such as AH or YH. Everything you would ever need is a quick walk or drive. Since Castle View Village is a Co-op the monthly fees are maintained at a much lower rate then any other park in the Edmonton area. This is an excellent option when looking for a new home. I have sold many units in the park and will happily continue to :) A+++”

“There lots if areas up and down, we found a very big field. If you go into the lower areas there are A LOT OF TREES. The lower area is a great place for biking, walking, hiking ,you can get alot of good photos there are a few paintings items there so try and find them! In the upper area you can roller skate too , be careful with the wooden bridges i got two really deep splinters in my finger. The creek is very beautiful from my point of view. The field has a Well placed bench and its a very good place for playing catch , doing cartwheels, running, playing Volley ball, playing football and over all relaxing.”

“Really nice little park. Community league has gone great lengths to revitalize the park and playground. Really nice place on a warm day to take younger kids. There is a spray park as well. There is a community garden behind the playground. In the winter there is a rink as well that is operational. Please respect the park, do not dump your kitchen garbage or yard waste in the bins or on the city property. Cheers!”

“Im staying at the Edmonton Inn & Conference Centre (affordable and dog friendly) this is a 10 minute walk away, and I agree that it would be better with a fenced area, but definitely appreciated having a place the dogs could really run. I also appreciated the cyclists being well lit so that I could see them way in advance and get the dogs leashed before they’d succumb to any temptation to chase.”

“Too many dogs for my liking but terrificly centered in the heart of Edmonton's beautiful river valley trail system. When our kids were young we loved biking through here. Bring a picnic. Edmonton City Council last year did public consultation on a potential redevelopment plan. Could get an exciting new look in a few years.”

“Definitely the best and the biggest ice rink in Edmonton. Unfortunately, the temperatures vary every winter and the ones that love skating have to wait a while for the rink to open up. Every year I look forward to go because it is just amazing having a big place to skate :) the staff there are very friendly!!”

“Absolutely amazing views of the river valley at the east end of Edmonton. It’s about a 10 km walk/bike from 19 st and 144 Ave to the river valley access entrance. The entire way is paved so easy walking or biking. It goes under the Anthony Henday bridge and along 2 golf courses. If you’re looking for an awesome walk you gotta check this out.”
