(January 9, 2019, 12:27 am)Coming from B.C. It’s been hard finding good sushi in Edmonton. I tried this place on skip the dishes and the sushi is so good! Would definitely recommend to any sushi lovers out there.
(December 24, 2018, 1:42 pm)Honestly the best little hole in the wall sushi spot I've been too in Alberta conceding I've been to many in Edmonton/Calgary. Stellar sushi quality for an amazing price. The owner was very kind and respectful in preparing the order and general interaction overall. I felt as if he really appreciated my business. Will be coming again when ever in the Edmonton area. Well worth a little drive for an authentic taste. Pleasurable experience no doubt.
(December 4, 2018, 3:40 am)The very definition of "hole in the wall" dining. With seating for eight at tables, and a further three along the window, Pricing is suburb, and honestly, at first glance you'd believe this to be just another cheap sushi place. The pieces just don't add up however, and if you stick it out, you'll be treated to delicately balanced example of what sushi can be.
Rice was flawless, delicate, well formed, distinct grains with lovely mouth feel. Fish of all kinds, treated with care, and of good quality.
Whatever you do, don't order through "skip the dishes" the commission they extract is brutal. Call in, or walk past. Place you order and do some shopping before returning. As a one man show (at least the night we where there) it is a process, but worth the wait!
(October 23, 2018, 7:16 pm)Loved it! Probably the best sushi I have ever had in the city. It might take a few minutes to get your sushi, but that is because they make it fresh to order. If you like sushi, definitely come here.
