Kazoku Ramen

Great atmosphere, and fantastic ramen. My family tried three different kinds and loved each one. The staff was incredibly friendly as well.

This use to be my go to place for ramen In Edmonton, however on my last visit here the broth was completely off. Not sure if it was because they just opened. The broth was really thick like they used corn starch to thicken for a rich taste. There was actual chunks of unmixed flour. The pork didn’t taste fresh at all, Almost like it came out of the fridge and microwaved so it had a little of the funky meat taste you get from heating meat in the microwave. I’m not sure if I would come back again, I’ve been raving to friends about this place for months. And now I’m taking it back. Very disappointing.

Ramen here is amazing, especially when you add a bit of hell spice to it! Dessert is pretty good as well. Always recommend the Kazoku Ramen if unsure. Only downside is they only take debit/cash.

A bit of back story: I had a favorite cutlet place when I lived in BC and I've been searching for something similar ever since but to no avail, till I found this place. This place is even better because their curry cutlet has bigger portions for a better price, their desserts are so far all awesome and their ramen is amazing too. Every experience I've had with the staff here has been pleasant and I love the atmosphere. I can't wait till I can come here again.

Very tasty ramen restaurant that’s probably one of the best in the city. The food tasted great and it was very filling.
The decor inside was very minimalist, but good on the eyes.
The staff was friendly and the food came out very quick. Will definitely be back.

The location is also very convenient for those that live in the West.
