Rob is great very helpfull takes time with you does not ry to push you out the door
Very helpful staff. Very happy to have them handling my mother's assisted living facility medications. Thanks Pauline!
This is a locally owned pharmacy that provides excellent community service and carries a wide range of products for customers medical needs. Recently there has been large staff turnover, which has reduced my rating from 4 to 5. However, this family owned and run business still provides the best customer service and is quick to resolve any issues arising, whether from human error caused by staff turnover, any errors arising from the customer or the manufacturer.
The delivery service is excellent, especially for those with limited mobility and/or large orders.
The pharmacy is an AADL approved vendor, which allows me to get my medications and my medical supplies from the same place. This makes things very convenient, especially because they deliver free of charge.
They go out of their way at Nolan Drug to manage clients needs by providing education about the medication you are taking, and by flagging any potential contraindications with other medications prescribed, over the counter, or street drugs. They also go the extra mile to source medical supplies you might need. In addition, they provide in home med reviews to assist in ensuring you are taking the medication you need when you need to, and not taking medication you don’t need. They also can provide information for people living with chronic diseases to help ensure you are getting the support you need to be as healthy as possible with your illness.
They provide 24/7 access to a pharmacist and emergency prescriptions for their clients. This is an invaluable service because it provides me with the comfort of knowing that the pharmacist I am speaking to can see the meds I am on and knows what I am allergic to, etc.
The new store is wheelchair accessible and there is parking beside the building. The staff are friendly and courteous and there is a wide range of the usual pharmacy fare such as snacks and candies, a few greeting cards, and over the counter medications and supplies.
All in all, this family owned pharmacy beats the big chains in so many ways. They also often have better prices than the big chains.
Has acted as a great community resource for a long time. Nolan drugs used to be the post office. They've kept the attitude that getting people in the door is half the problem. The other half is friendly service inviting people back in.
