Any outdoor green space that you can enjoy is worth 5 stars. You can walk along the upper part of the ravine for some distance and just breathe in the fresh air and appreciate nature. I will always recommend a good walk in a green space any time we don’t do it often enough. There is a small playground tucked in behind some houses otherwise there is not much else. No washroom facilities or day use area and no parking other than on the street.
Small ravine with creek from 101 Avenue to Wayne Gretzky/106 Avenue. The upper area is a great casual walk along the tree line that opens up near Wayne Gretzky, here it becomes hilled perfect for tobogganing and picnics. The upper area also often has ski tracks in the winter from local cross-country skiers. An unmaintained lower trail system with steep entry paths winds through the ravine and is great for exploring. This ravine connects to the Wayne Gretzky pedestrian bridge into Terrace Heights.
