The newest trail in the ever expanding river valley system. This paved, gently rolling path starts (or ends!) at 167 Ave, follows the top of bank along the river to (or from!) the Bannerman Community, connecting to Hermitage, Rundle, Goldbar... all the way to the SW Henday crossing. It's a superb route for a 21K run (top of stairs at 137 Ave and 20 St to Quarry stairs), a 10 K walk (17 St to Quarry) or a longer bike ride.
Take a brief detour to cross the NE Henday underslung ped bridge.
Beautiful with an awesome view of the golf course and asphalt trail along the north Saskatchewan river.
What a beautiful view of the North Saskatchewan River from this spot. Nice trails, but a bit too steep for us older less fit people.
Absolutely amazing views of the river valley at the east end of Edmonton. It’s about a 10 km walk/bike from 19 st and 144 Ave to the river valley access entrance. The entire way is paved so easy walking or biking. It goes under the Anthony Henday bridge and along 2 golf courses. If you’re looking for an awesome walk you gotta check this out.
