(March 11, 2019, 4:18 pm)The Alberta PCN website says Dr. Salopek is accepting new patients, however it does not mention that he is only accepting patients that are new to Edmonton or Alberta. It would also appear that everything you read about the staff being rude and unhelpful could also be true, the woman that answered the phone was not polite at all and hung up on me after I said I was not new to the area.

(October 30, 2018, 11:13 pm)Not professional at all! A. Doctor did not arrange my Down syndrome examination for first trimester even though we mentioned that to him. When I did my second B ultrasound scan, I was informed that I had passed due date for DS exam. B. Doctor asked me to wait for OB ‘ s call and did not provide OB’s phone number. I waited for almost 2 months, then I was told that I did not show up for OB appointment. What! Nobody never ever told me the date and time for the appointment! Receptionist is not responsible !!! She insisted that she contacted me several times in September, but I checked my phone and there was none. It results that I need to pay $50 bucks for rescheduling my appointment with OB. I am not even sure if she got my correct phone number! If you did not call me, at least give me OB’ s phone number so I can contact by myself.
(July 25, 2018, 3:50 pm)I went to Twin Brooms Medical Clinic for my immigration medical exam and it was quite good. The place looks nice and clean and the service was pretty fast (about 35 minutes from my arrival to the end of the exam). Dr Tony is professional and took his time to do all the steps required. The only inconvenience is that the X-RAY and blood test are not in the same building as the medical exam. But it's not that bad since the referred place is about 4 minutes far from the Clinic
