Great small authentic northern Chinese restaurant, specializing in malatang. Good selection of ingredients, friendly and fast service.

I don't even like Chinese food, my husband always has to work to convince me to order it... But I actually really liked the distress here. We ordered spring rolls, pork chow mein, kungpo chicken and sweet and sour eggplant for delivery. Everything was awesome. Nice fresh veggies, great flavours, the eggplant was great but much spicier then I expected. I definitely would recommend this place!

This place is straight-up amazing. The staff is great and walks you through some of the more authentic food options. Stick to the authentic dishes, ask questions and you’ll be rewarded with a incredible meal that you won’t find anywhere else. The spicy dry pot was my favourite, hands down. Both the owner/chef and front of house staff (NG) were super friendly!

This Malitang concept is very cool. Apparently common in the area of China where the owner is from, but I don’t think there’s too many restaurants in Edmonton that have this, so it’s a fairly new idea for Edmonton.

Basically it’s like a cross between Asian noodle soup and Chinese hot pot. You pick the ingredients from refrigerated display and then they will cook it up either dry, or as a soup. The soup broth that they make is phenomenal, exactly how I like it!

The rest of the items on the menu are great as well. I have been to this restaurant a number of times now so the owner and staff know me! They treat me like Gold! The owner was even kind enough to make me an authentic dish off the menu from his home town in China that he would have back home, so I could taste something completely different.

I will be back again and again, I love this place!

Tasty food and good environment inside. I always go there for their hot pot. They recommend their Chinese dishes today. amazing! They have both traditional and western Chinese food. Best place to go!
