“Went to the Metex Stone Worx shop today and saw a wide selection of various types of stone systems including natural and cultured stone. The wife prefers the natural look so we looked at some natural travertine and limestone selection in various color schemes. Its pretty cool to see the various options that you can have for both internal and external walls. Additionally these guys have stone fireplaces which is something that we seriously considering in the future to give some life to our living area. We went to various stone suppliers including K2, Sierra, & Quarry Stone, which all have great selection (Sierra was more paving stones) but the price point is where Metex really wins.. you see sometimes certain suppliers selling overstock stone on sale but than your lucky to find a selection you really love.. at metex the pricing was more than fair and cheaper than their competitors.. i highly recommend a visit to their showroom to take a look at their selection which from the sounds of it is going to become more dynamic in the near future.. we have the perfect stone for the front veneer of our house and will definitely be back for the fireplaces. “This a really great art supply store - I go there often to buy acrylic paints and like their own brand -I save quite a bit of money buying Colours paints and have never noticed any difference between them and the mainstream products - other than the price, that is! This is also a really good store for finding the brushes, canvasses, sketchbooks and drafting pens that I like to work with. I have also purchased easels, and lighting from the store and have been very satisfied with them.”
