“I came into Gail’s program frustrated with years of yo-yo dieting and my on and off again fitness regimes. I’m good at weight loss, but terrible at maintaining. As I approach 40, I’ve found that the extra pounds creeping up are getting harder to shed. I believed that because I was getting older it was just something I had to accept. Gail has taught me that old habits can be changed into healthy habits that will benefit my health long term. Gail has given me a lifestyle plan, not a diet so it’s been really easy to follow and keep weight off. In addition to the habit and nutritional changes, the exercise plan Gail has provided is easy to modify to be able to do at home or even shorten to get a quick workout in on days where I’m pressed for time. The knowledge and nutritional tips I have learned from Gail are invaluable. Most importantly, I am always motivated because Gail’s workouts are always changing and customized to my specific needs. I now can actually see muscle groups building. Gail has helped me to follow through with the realistic measures and goals she has given me. She has kept me engaged with positive words, supportive food strategies and great strengthening ideas! Gail has designed a nutrition and training program that has made it possible to achieve my goals and consistently pushes me to prove to myself that I can exceed my expectations. In addition to being very knowledgeable in her field, Gail quickly understood my goals and has continually provided advice and varied programs. She uses a holistic approach, incorporating flexibility, strength, posture, balance, endurance along with promoting a healthy eating regime. Gail stresses the “lifelong change” approach, her program is not a “quick fix” approach to weight loss and fitness. The program Gail has me on is aimed to change my lifestyle, nutrition and habits. My goal is to develop healthy eating habits and incorporate fitness into my everyday life, no matter how hectic it gets. Developing healthy habits, even the smallest change, and mainlining those habits is key. Gail is passionate about what she does and walks the talk. She’s inspiring and I always leave our sessions feeling positive and uplifted, even if I had gained weight, missed too many workouts or just had a bad week. I highly recommend Gail and am really glad I’ve had her to educate and support me throughout this time. In addition to Gail being an excellent coach, I should also mention she is fabulous friend!! I have known Gail for nearly 15 years! I can tell you that Gail has always been passionate about nutrition and fitness and this lady knows her stuff!! I have always known her to be extremely active and very much into outdoor sports and activities. She sets her goals high and crushes them! She is extremely motivated and has also been a huge motivator in my life. Just seeing her accomplishing her (sometimes crazy) goals motivates me! If she can do that I can too. Thought the years I have know Gail she has been active (in most cases competitively) in cross country skiing, downhill skiing, mountain biking, road biking, running, yoga, ice climbing, rock climbing, hiking and of course some pretty intense gym workouts. She’s always researching and education herself in the world of nutrition and fitness. With her knowledge, training and personal experience I have to say she the person you need to help you make a lifelong lasting change in your personal overall fitness and nutrient. I am confident after competing Gail’s program that I will see the lifelong results and say goodbye forever to the constant yo-yo of both my weight and fitness levels. I will be able to call myself “healthy” and “fit” always.”
